Review / Selection

Applications will be reviewed in the first quarter of next year by the United Way Grants Committee, which consists of community volunteers that help to distribute the dollars raised by the United Way’s campaign and help to make funding decisions.

A Grants Committee volunteer will contact the applicant to request any additional information and to set up a site visit in the January/February timeframe to discuss your program and to ask additional questions.

Based on eligibility requirements, application, supporting documentation, and site visit information, the volunteers will make a recommendation to the United Way’s Board of Directors.  All recommendations will be discussed at the United Way’s March Board Meeting, and allocations will be determined.
